Memoirs of a Geisha is the best book I ever laid my eyes on. This book is an astounding novel by Arthur Golden. Washington Post Book World calls it “astonishing…breathtaking and seducive”.This is the number one international bestseller and was on the New York Times bestsellers list for over one year!!! While walking through the library I saw the book and just reading the introduction had seduced me completely. Before I knew it the bell had rung and i was on the second chapter. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to relax and daze into the imaginary world that a great book can offer you. This book will not bore you at all!

I had been recommended a book by Sherryll Jordan called The Raging Quiet. This book passed across a message which seemed very appropriate to any society, at any time period; the unforgivable sin of being different. This book contains historical context and a sheer feeling of the midieval ages which only enhances the books natural mystic airs. I recommend this book to anyone, mostly the girls as this book does touch upon more feminine sentiments than masculine. Although anyone could appreciate a good read…
